The Registration of Marwari Horses is in progress. There is great enthusiasm in Stud owners to get their Studs and Stock registered. The Marwari Horse Stud Book Registration Society of India is appointing the panel veterinarian all over the country to issue the registration identification certificates. It is very heartening that the breeders and Stud owners have realized the importance of formation of Marwari Horse Stud Book Registration Society of India.

The Animal Husbandry Commissioner, Govt. of India vide their letter no. 48-57/2006-Sheep Dt. 30 Aug. 2011 directed all directors of States that Marwari Horses should be registered by 31st May, 2012.
